Becoming Movable|
An Integrative Movement Immersion
Becoming Movable is a two-day learning retreat—an extension and evolution of the work we do in class.
It’s designed to deepen, refine, and elevate your movement practice across physical, mental, emotional, and energetic layers.
Over two days, you’ll build the tools, language, and rhythm to engage your body—and the body of the world—in ways that are more creative, more sustainable, and more precise.
Embodied anatomy
Rhythm and musicality
Yoga philosophy (lived, not quoted)
The six foundational movement patterns
Dharma talks, meditation, and integrative movement work
Whether you’re looking to deepen your own practice or elevate the way you currently teach, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what you’re doing in your body, why it works, and how it shapes the way you move through the world.
If you love my class, this is the deeper, more collaborative version of that work

FAQ
Do I need to be an advanced practitioner?
No. This experience is designed to meet you where you are. You do not need to be highly flexible or advanced — just willing to engage and explore.
Is this a teacher training?
No. This is a learning intensive designed to deepen your personal practice and understanding. That said, many of the concepts we explore — such as sequencing, cueing, and class structure — will naturally support anyone who is interested in teaching or refining their current teaching.
What does a typical day look like?
Each day runs approximately 12:30 PM–6:30 PM and includes a mix of physical practice, lecture and discussion, anatomy exploration, and experiential integration. It will not feel like six straight hours of movement — the day is intentionally varied and paced.
Will there be breaks?
Yes. There will be short breaks throughout the day.
How many spots are available?
The group will be limited to approximately 16–20 participants to keep the experience personal, interactive, and supportive.
Will this be offered again?
Yes. This is intended to become an ongoing offering, however, each learning retreat will include slightly different content than the last. future dates will be announced.
When is payment due?
Payment will be due prior to the start of the intensive. Payment plans will be available.
What if I’m only able to attend one of the two sessions?
Because this experience is designed as a complete two-day progression, pricing reflects the full program rather than individual sessions.
If you’re only able to attend one day, you’re still welcome — just know you’ll be stepping into part of a larger arc, and some of the continuity will be missed.
If your schedule doesn’t allow for both days, it may be worth waiting for a future offering so you can experience it in its entirety.
Are sliding scale or scholarship options available?
Yes. A small number of sliding scale and scholarship spots will be available for students who feel strongly called to the immersion but may need financial support.
